Haha! Seriously how lame, i actually FINALLY managed to get my ass back into excersising. Wow its been a month since I'v moved into my new apartment and got all crazy busy and skipping bootcamp.
I really enjoyed bootcamp, the 4 days I went. It was tough and serious working out no time to sit around checking out my nails. I got down and dirty doing burpees, which were a killer. The hardest part was waking up at 4 45am to get to the 5 30am class. Still trying to get back into it so im taking baby steps and going tot the gym at around 6 45-7am to get my body back into the routine.
Anyway so this morning I got myself out of bed and went downstairs to my gym in the building and jogged for 20 mins, did some lunges and some squats.. good times...:)
As for my dinner last night, I made this chick pea based dish with some green beans and an indian type sauce served ontop of brown rice (which Im still trying to get right) I over did it with the chilli but it was good nonetheless. I didnt take a picture because I forgot. Lol, not the best way to start my food blog now is it..?
This morning for breakfast, I had oats porridge with bananas and muesli with a half a teaspoon of honey. I used RICE MILK! Im very happy, as it didnt taste too different from regular skimmed milk and way better then soy. I hate soy milk. I squeezed some fresh grapefruit, orange and a mandarin and it was delish!
Okay enough of my ramble. I am feeling great and so proud that I am not killing any beautiful animals and contributing to the disgusting food industry and ruining our enviroment!
Ciao!

Hello!
My first post!
Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself and my new blog. I have recently gone vegetarian and thought I would start a new online diary/blog/ramble page where I can just talk about how Im feeling, eating and general stuff regarding my new healthy living.
I wasnt always vegetarian. In fact I was the girl who would laugh at the people who didnt eat meat. I thought "how crazy are you?" I mean seriously, I could never live without chicken or a good burger..and dont get me started on seafood(still a challenge)!
It all changed when I started becoming more spiritual and concious of whats around me. I started feeling really drawn and interested towards vegetarianism and veganism. I also went on a semi raw food and healthy organic diet for 3 days leading up to a spiritual workshop and thats what started my transition.
I started researching and reading ALOT on the health benefits etc on giving up animal produce, and before I knew it, I was sold.
Actually, most of it came from ethical reasons. I was incredibly moved (and seriously disturbed) by the treatment of animals and the food industry and disgusted by the whole thing. I couldnt stop crying when I watched food inc, and the like. We humans were sacrficing other LIVING being simply for, pleasure. Pathetic really.
I also learnt a great deal about how BAD meat can be for our system, especially how society is consuming it nowadays. Anyways, it all came down to two things, compassion and health.
To cut a story short, its been 4 weeks since I'v changed my diet and have only slipped up twice by having fish. I feel great and not to mention alot happier.
I will post pics of my cooking escapades and tell you about how I cooked them. I will talk about my fitness routines and how Im generally living. My healthy living diary. :)
Hope you enjoy it!
Until next time!
